COVID-19: Updated Daily Business Operations
March 17, 2020
Every day we wake up to new information about how COVID-19 is affecting communities and businesses across the world. Change is happening in real time, but the one thing that remains constant is our dedication to support you. Like so many businesses, ThreeBigDogs has been closely monitoring the spread of the virus and planning to minimize its potential impact to our employees, communities, suppliers and valued customers.
We feel it necessary to reach out to you directly with this update. This information is intended to reassure you that everyone here, at the ThreeBigDogs family, are working diligently to provide uninterrupted services to all of our business partners while keeping the health and well-being of our employees our paramount concern.
We are monitoring the COVID-19 / Coronavirus situation and continuously adjusting our daily operations. Our latest efforts include intensified cleaning and sanitization of our work and home environments along with increased restrictions for non-employee entrance to our facility. Our warehousing, shipping, receiving and distribution abilities remain fully operational and our warehouse employees continue to work diligently. Our office and administrative employees continue to work efficiently on a “business as usual” schedule of daily tasks.
Some of the ways we’re providing our employees optimal working conditions and uninterrupted services to our customers:
We will continue to assess the situation on a daily and sometimes hourly basis to continuously adapt and be as proactive as possible in regards to our employee’s health while providing services to our customers.
Please feel free to contact us directly with any questions or concerns you may have in the upcoming days and weeks concerning our business plans, operating procedures and general concerns you may have concerning our operational status in regard to your individual needs. As a small business owner, we encourage you to support your local small businesses as much as possible in these trying times as we and our employees are being devastated by the uncertainty and in some cases the overreaction to the information being distributed by less than credible sources. Please be safe, use common sense, be vigilant and help each other in your community as we all work together to get through this difficult situation.
With so much uncertainty in today’s environment, we want to personally assure you that everyone at ThreeBigDogs will continue to provide outstanding service and solutions so that our customers can achieve their goals.
Sincerely,

Our office and administrative employees continue to work efficiently on a “business as usual” schedule of daily tasks.
Some of the ways we’re providing our employees optimal working conditions and uninterrupted services to our customers:
- Intensified daily sanitation of common areas including door knobs, computer keyboards, personal work spaces and community areas like bathrooms and break rooms
- Company provided personal protection devices such as gloves, masks, and cleaning/disinfection materials
- Implementation of the see something; say something and buddy system procedures in our working environment
- Voluntary cancellation of activities with groups of people in our personal lives
- Creating a “personal work space” for each employee to follow health care recommendations of maintaining a 6’ distance between people when possible
- Daily shipping and receiving procedures have been modified to optimize a healthy working environment while continuing to provide uninterrupted services
- Visitors are not permitted to enter the facilities under any circumstance for at least the next two weeks
- Incoming and outgoing small package deliveries and shipments are being restricted to a special location in our facility to reduce human contact and ensure safe operating practices
- All office personnel and warehouse management personnel have been given the ability to work remotely if necessary including laptop computers, company cell phones and individualized support from our IT specialists to ensure uninterrupted services in the event that we aren’t able to work at the office
- Increased manufacturing and pre-assembly of products in our warehouse/distribution division to be prepared in case we have a reduction in personnel for any reason in the upcoming weeks
- Temporary suspension of all non-essential outside services such as office cleaning
- Daily “COVID-19 State Of The Union” meetings with all personnel to discuss the most recent credible information being provided by federal, state and local officials to help educate everyone to the latest factual information and reduce unnecessary stress
We will continue to assess the situation on a daily and sometimes hourly basis to continuously adapt and be as proactive as possible in regards to our employee’s health while providing services to our customers.
